The Standard Hotel – LA

Unfortunately I never stayed in this hotel as I was staying with a friend but we went to this hotel for drinks and food in the evening and it was amazing, probably the best hotel bar I have ever been to. We order a cheese burger and cocktails and the food was as good as the view which was spectacular you can see all the skyscrapers tower around you. This really is the coolest place to hang out. The hotel has a rooftop pool, rooftop bar and garden, dazzling views of the city. This really is the coolest place to hang out. ❤

Universal Studios

Universal Studios has some great rides and tours where you can visit Desperate Housewives Wisteria Lane and explore where many Hollywood movies are filmed. Universal Studios is home to the world’s largest most intense 3D experience King Kong 360 3D. Make sure you hang on for your life as you crash your way through the animated world of The Simpsons on a revolutionary virtual roller coaster + So Much More.

There is an extensive list here of all the celebrities who have made the Hollywood walk of fame. If you are lucky enough you may see a celebrity be presented with their star. As fun and exciting as the Hollywood walk of Fame, it is a tourist trap and everyone wants your money from the homeless, the street entertainers and just the plain old pick pocketers who will just take it so keep your wits about you.

Party at Hollywood’s Avalon

I was lucky enough to travel to LA and visit this iconic club with my best friend JVP of House Music For Girls and the tour manager of World Famous DJ James Zabiela. James Zabiela was performing at his very own Born Electric Label Night which has hosted nights and stages at festivals all over the world including Zoo Project Festival UK, Yacht Cruise Miami, Global Gathering UK and We Love Space Ibiza. So I spent the night networking backstage as well as dancing the night away. Despite feeling terrible having just got back from Vegas the night before, I partied hard until about 2am where I just couldn’t party anymore.

This club looks absolutely incredible it a 1927 vintage theatre turned into one of LA’s finest super clubs. Avalon is the only club in the whole of LA to have a 24 hour license with a bar that opens again at 6am in the morning for all you dance floor troopers.
